  • question: Will it run one light and one extractor fan at the same time?

    répondre: If the total load is under 15 amp then yes. A light plus a normal domestic extractor should be well below 15 amp.
  • question: Is it possible to use these in 2 way, 3 core cable t&e?

    répondre: I don't think so. From memory only 2 terminals- so no 3 way facility for strapper.
  • question: Does any time lag switch work with LED lights?

    répondre: Yes it will work fine, but there's a fair chance that the LED will flicker or glow dimly when the switch 'times out'. But this can be fixed by wiring a Power Correction Factor Capacitor across the LED lamp. They sell them on here.
  • question: Does it need a back box?

    répondre: This replaces an existing light switch so yes it needs a back box or a surface mounted (patress box).
  • question: Can you use two on one circuit? One at top of stairs and one at bottom of staircase. Both controlling the same lights.

    répondre: No, these are not 2-way switches which is what you need for your application. This switch needs a permanent live wire which you don't normally have at both top and bottom of stairs.
  • question: What's the standby energy consumption of this switch? Presumably the circuitry uses some power, even when button not pressed?

    répondre: Can't tell you, never measured it, nothing in the instructions. It should be very low as the only power taken in standby is for the LED light around the button which is very low power.
  • question: Can this be used in a bathroom? What IP rating does it have?

    répondre: No, not for inside a bathroom.
  • question: Can this run one ceiling light and one extraction fan?

    répondre: Yes. The fan should have an isolator switch.
  • question: Can you cancel the timer by pressing the button a second time?

    répondre: No, pressing a second time just restarts the timer from zero again.
