BioGuard Kleen It Filter Cleaner is a powerful and effective cleaner that can be used on different types of filters, including back washable de filters and hot tub filters. However, it is recommended that the filter is removed, sprayed down thoroughly, and soaked for about 10 minutes before rinsing. It is not recommended to pour it into the skimmer. The product does not come with a sprayer mechanism as shown in the images. One needs to purchase a separate sprayer to use the product as intended. Customer Feedback: - The product image shows a sprayer, but it doesn't come with one, leading to confusion and frustration. - The product works effectively in cleaning filters, but it is not brightening or whitening. - The product may help extend the life of filter cartridges by removing more dirt and oils than just hosing off. - The product works well on disposable hot tub filters and even ceramic spa filters. - While one customer loved the product, the package was delivered leaking, leading to disappointment.
