The Korg XE20 is a full 88-key piano and arranger keyboard with many voices, rhythms, and style presets. The piano has a minimalist control panel, making it less than ideal for gigs; it’s better suited for playing at home. The German and Italian piano voices are glorious sounding, and other voices are well-suited for recording. The keyboard has 700+ voices, but some are impractical for live usage. You can layer voices to create new ones and edit them a bit. The speakers are great and don’t distort at high volume, and the key action is very expressive and nicely weighted. The adjustable touch is a useful feature, and the menu system is logical. Although it comes with the Quick Start booklet, you’d need the owner’s manual to utilize all the features of the keyboard. The keyboard, without a doubt, is beautiful.
