Mallory Distributor Caps 209D Editorial Review
The Mallory 209D Distributor Cap Mal Marine is a blue flame-arrested version for marine use and has a push-on style rotor for 50 Series 8 Cylinder Applications. It is a marine cap with clip-on and does not come with clips or gaskets. The product generally fits precisely and works as expected for carbureted PCM (Ford 351) marine engines. However, some users have had issues with the fit, as the Mallory version was loose and required too much play to secure it in place, and some claimed it was made in China and did not fit correctly. However, others have recommended Sierra caps instead of the Mallory for their compatibility and better fit. **
