The product is not meant for polishing because it's not variable speed. It can use cut off wheels without any adaptors needed, and the guard adjusts over a fairly large range. The arbor hole diameter of the blades is 1/2 inch, but you can also use double bushing for 5/8", 7/8" and 1". The grinder accepts all standard cut-off/grinder wheels. It's AC only and made in China. The power on/off switch is described as stupid, and the case is not good. One customer received a used one instead of a new product. However, many buyers were satisfied and felt that the product is of good quality, small, easy to manipulate, and comes with a case and two discs included.
