    répondre: No. This has no programming ability. It can only control eight devices, 1 through 8. Look at the new WM100. You can control it and program it with your smartphone.
  • question: Can you use both the x10 mc10a plug-in mini controller, and the remote x10 hr12a palm pad remote control for the same lamp modules?

    répondre: Should be absolutely no problem as long as both controllers are using the same House code. Also the mini controller only allows unit codes 1-8 whereas the palm pad remote allows the full 1-16 unit codes. The palm pad also requires batteries. And of course placement may be an issue. You probably know that the palm pad has to work via a transceiver, so that if the palm pad is too distant from the transceiver, you will get no actions in response to your key presses. Also depending on what circuit the mini-controller and/or transceiver is plugged into, may also affect results, so that you might not see identical reliability of behavior. But the fundamental answer to your question is YES. Hope this helps.
  • question: Do the x10 signals pass through gfci and arc flash breakers?

    répondre: My controller is plugged into a GFCI and it works fine. I do not know about the breakers.
  • question: Is this a manual push-button controller or will it receive signals from motion sensors and activate lamp and appliance modules?

    répondre: It is a manual controller. I believe there are X10 motion detectors that will directly activate the lamp and appliance modules.
  • question: Does it have a clock to set on-off schedules?

    répondre: The mini controller does not have a clock, but they do have one that has a clock and on-off times can be set for controlling any plug-in controller. See the items that are offered.
  • question: Looking for a mini console cc-4

    répondre: This is a mini console for control of X10 only.
  • question: Does this unit work with the WS467 modules?

    répondre: It should, though I do not have the WS467 module. This controller was designed for any X10 modules. Someone else should be able to answer this for sure.
  • question: To use this with a remote, do you have to have any other devices?

    répondre: The X10 Controller is to control X10 Devices - X10 Wall Switch, Lamp Module and Appliance Module. It does not work with a Smartphone.
  • question: Is this controller compatible with the x10 wall switch module, model ws467?

    répondre: Both modules are fully X10 compatible. WS467, MC10A
  • question: Will this work with model #phc01?

    répondre: I replaced a non-working phc01 with the mini controller. I have another phc01 with the same house code, it and the new mini controller are working fine together.
