Island of Desire is a classic film set in World War II about a nurse (played by Linda Darnell) and a sailor (played by Tab Hunter) who are shipwrecked on an island in the Pacific along with a British flyer. A love triangle ensues between the three characters. The film has stunning cinematography and great performances by all actors. The only downside is that the first 20 minutes are quite campy and some may find it hard to believe the plot. However, for those looking for an innocent and fun film, this is an enjoyable one.
