Ubisoft PC Games Editorial Review
Rocksmith is an innovative and exciting game that allows players to use real guitars instead of plastic controllers. This unique feature makes the game much more engaging and provides players with the opportunity to develop actual guitar skills. Unlike other music games like Guitar Hero, Rocksmith offers a more practical and rewarding experience by allowing users to eventually play the songs on real instruments. The game is well-suited for all levels of players, including beginners. It offers great tutorials and allows players to progress at their own pace. Even if players don't become guitar virtuosos like Eddie Van Halen, they can still enjoy the process of learning and getting better. Rocksmith is highly recommended for anyone looking to improve their guitar skills while having fun. One improvement that could be made to Rocksmith is the inclusion of colored strings to help with finger placement. This would be especially helpful for beginners who are still unfamiliar with the instrument. Overall, the game is a fantastic learning tool and offers a great experience for guitar enthusiasts. However, some customers have had issues with the product's packaging and installation. In one case, the box arrived in poor condition, making it appear as though it had been mishandled during shipping. Another customer had difficulty downloading the game onto their computer and faced challenges with getting the software to recognize the guitar. These issues have led to dissatisfaction among these customers.
