DEWALT Tool Boxes DWST1-72364 Editorial Review
The DEWALT DWST88801 foam insert is a customisable storage solution for various tool shapes. It has removable foam blocks to fit tools, and most people remove the blocks easily by hand. However, it can not fit a 20v brushless hammer drill, a 20v brushless impact drill and a charger at the same time. The insert fits shallow boxes and is not recommended for being split into half. The insert Consists of 6 layers rather than 7, as shown in the images, and is 2-5/16" thick. It comes in two pieces of 4-inch and 1-1/2-inch layers. In terms of reviews, there is negative feedback about the high price compared to the height of the foam. Customers feel they need to buy two for a small tool case or three for larger, heavier tools. Some customers also experienced challenges with breaking apart squares too easily and difficulty cutting out specific shapes. However, others had a great experience and found it to be durable material and easy to work with, while others found it to be a perfect fit and good for cutting. One customer also found it to be dog approved.
