The product is a passive low-pass crossover network that doesn't require separate power. The unit appears well-Constructed with quality components, and a rubber pad is glued to the back for easy rattle-free mounting. The PC board has holes for screws, and the terminals are labeled and solder easily. The crossover network does a great job at keeping the treble out of the subwoofer. However, some customers found it increased the bass, but not as much as they expected. A few users encountered some issues - one had to remove the AMP and wire in the crossover for subwoofer, another had issues connecting it to a 8ohm woofer, and some units just quit for no apparent reason.
