Sleeve City Tools Editorial Review
The Diskeeper Tonearm Headshell Level has garnered a commendable reception among users, particularly those who own the Technics SL-1210GR turntable. Many customers have lauded its effectiveness in ensuring precise alignment of the tonearm, which directly influences sound quality. Users have shared their experiences of discovering slight misalignments in their tonearms that they previously overlooked. After adjusting both the Vertical Tracking Angle (VTA) and Azimuth using this tool, they reported noticeable improvements in sound clarity and overall performance. The easy-to-use design eliminates the need for complicated protractor setups; users simply place it on the headshell and adjust until the bubble reaches the center. However, there are some caveats to its use. Some reviewers pointed out that the tool's weight can affect tonearm balance, necessitating proper tracking weight adjustments for optimal use. Additionally, while many found it effective, there were comments regarding the absence of detailed instructions, which may pose challenges for beginners. A few users also noted issues with the bubble's accuracy, suggesting checking it against a known level surface before relying on it for adjustments. Overall, the Diskeeper Tonearm Headshell Level is regarded as an essential accessory for audiophiles looking to enhance their vinyl listening experience, offering an efficient means of maintaining their equipment's precision. ###
